De chez moi, je voyais les hérons se positionner et attendre la bonne hauteur de la marée. Ce n'est qu'à ce moment qu'ils descendaient de leur rocher pour marcher lentement dans l'eau, ralentir puis piquer le bec dans l'eau et en sortir un poisson qu'ils avalaient en entier en s'étirant le cou... Oeuvre sur canevas 20 x 16 x 0,5 po en techniques mixtes acrylliques.  Bleu et oranger dominent mais il y a toute une texture de couleurs au premier plan.
From home, I saw the herons position themselves and wait for the right height of the tide. It was only then that they descended from their rock to walk slowly in the water, slow down and then bite the beak in the water and take out a fish that they swallowed whole while stretching their neck...
